Looking for TODOs on OSX

Has anyone else run into the issue where irida hangs on startup, with two modal dialogs up (Looking for TODOs and Loading files), both of which stay there and the only way out is to force kill it?

This happens to me three out of every 4 tries. Just starting up Irida on OSX is an exercise in frustration, and has been for the last 3 builds.

Yup happened to us yesterday. Cleared everything including caches and
preferences and it seems to have gone away. Pain in the butt, but I
guess such is the life of EAP.

Red herring. Clearing caches does nothing, so I think it was just a coincedence in your case. It happens a lot less often for me on the powerbook, but happens pretty much all the time on the dual G5 desktop. That coupled with the fact that when I try to compile a class the compiler never properly terminates means I'm off to 4.5land until the next EAP, where at least SOME work is possible.

I think you're right. I have it happen a few times. Particularly with the EAP, but I think I remember it once or twice with 4.5.x . I have a suspicion that whatever is causing this is related to the Application Menu disabled stuff. Although I'm getting the idea that it may be Apple's VM in that case.
