IDEA make and maven resource filtering

Hi.

I have a maven project with root pom package and a child jar package. When I am launching IDEA's build command it gives me several warnings like this:

[filename]
* Warning: Maven: File is too big to be filtered. Most likely it is a binary file and should be excluded from filtering.

So I suppose it tries to filter my resource files although it is not enabled in pom.xml (even if I try to disable it explicitly). What is really happening and what could I do to disable it?

Thanks. I am using IDEA 9.0.2 build #IC-95.66 and a project created with mvn idea:idea (Apache Maven 2.2.1, maven-idea-plugin:2.2)

What file exactly does IDEA try to files? What directory tjis file in? Can you attach a pom?

I just want do add that this still happens 9.0.3 (Build #IU-95.429, on Windows XP).
I've even tried to disable filtering in the POM explicitely (though the default should be false) but that didn't change
IntelliJ's behaviour.

So why is this a Problem?
The real problem is that if this warning:

[filename]
* Warning: Maven: File is too big to be filtered. Most likely it is a binary file and should be excluded from filtering.

is the first one in the dialig IntelliJ automatically opens this file and than blocks for about a minute because it tries
to analyze the file's contents! (in my case it was a huge SQL file)
Even worse, if you try to exclude this file from compile or validation you have to right click on the warning which
again opens the file.
And needless to say neither "exclude from compile" nor "exclude from validation" seem to change anything.
On every full rebuild I receive the warning, the file gets openened and IntelliJ takes a break for
a minute or two....

Regards,

Robin.
