957 CamelHumps

IDEA needs to implement this ala the CamelWords plugin. It shouldn't be a
mode as it is in 957. It should be a separate command that can be assigned
to its own key combo.

I do not think it's a good idea. Too many new shortcuts needed. Here's the
list (as far as I can remember) of the affected commands:
Ctrl+(Left|Right)
CtrlShift(Left|Right)
Ctrl+W
CtrlShiftW
Ctrl+BackSpace
Ctrl+Delete

And what is worse double click plus drag is also affected.

What others would say?

Well, what I can suggest is a toggle action to switch modes.

Leave it up to users. If people want, they can always use CamelHumps by
setting the KeyMap. As it stands, I'll keep using the CamelWords plugin
because it allows me to have both. The majority of the time, I don't want
Camel Humps.

I just miss camel humping in the rename dialog.

Fixed in upcoming build.

If I don't have both options at my fingertips, then it's not
of much use to me. It doesn't make any sense to open the
editor settings, switch the camel humps option, close the
dialog, select the first two parts of of three part camel
case word only to switch the option off again next time I
want to select a whole word.

A toggle action would slightly improve the handling.

However I also think that having separate actions would be
nicer. Leave it to the use to assign the actions the
keyboard shortcuts.

As I said in a previous thread being able to distinguish
between left and right (and both) keyboard modifiers down
would help. E.g. have CTRL+LEFT-ARROW select a whole word
and LEFT-CTRLRIGHT-CTRLLEFT-ARROW select a camel word.
Would be an easy to remember scheme.
