Maxim,

Is this linked to Yourkit? I'm asking because their publicly available
version doesn't support MacOS X.

Hi,

Hint: There is no visible actions 'Capture memory snapshot' and 'Capture
CPU usage data' on Mac, isn't?.
The actions appear on toolbar when YourKit profiler agent is available.

Right.
Hint: how can I know what people see, and that I can't see, because it's
not there?
:)

yes, it does. YourKit Java Profiler (http://www.yourkit.com) is included.

It's not that simple, after all : there is an icon in some cases, but it
has no effect.
