About Why java is un-cool... But really is... The author has this quote,
and I thought it was neat for JB folks to see this. It's quite a statement.
" Java did not have a good IDE that compared with MS Visual Studio. I think
this one was true. I am not so sure it is any more with IntelliJ. The
absence of good tools probably pushed away a lot of good programmers."

Even more interesting is that, according to the author bio at the end of
the article, "He has been a key member of the Pramati Studio R&D team".
So it appears that, even though he is working on a competing
product, he publicly praised IntelliJ.
IDEA is a much nicer product than VS.Net. MS will have to play catch up.
I'm recently doing some projects in C# using VS.NET2003. The IDE is just a advanced notepad in my eye compare with IDEA. Even with the assistant of resharper, it is still not so good.
