Can you filter contents of the CVS File window?

Is there any interface for filtering the contents
of the CVS file view? I have several files which are
not CVSed and so they appear as unknown, as you'd expect,
in the CVS File View. I would like to filter them out
as it's only noise and occupy too much screen real estate ...

Add the file patterns to a .cvsignore file in the corresponding directory.

Yes. At the top of the toolwindow there's a panel labelled "Filter by
File Status" - you may have it collapsed? There's a checkbox for "Unknown".

Tom,

I know about the cvsignore, but I was wondering if there is an interface in idea to do this for the file view,
possibly not as a permanent filter, but one that can be changed from the UI.
My current use for this is for eliminating files I'm not
interested in from the display, but I can think of other
uses, like in the case of having made significant changes scattered throughout the project, and then using
the filter to view the chunks I know are related in some way.
