cvs pre-commit check failed

I'm getting that error on all cvs-checkins.   Doing a checkin using command line or tortoise cvs clients works fine.

I'm not sure if this were a cvs server configuration problem or something wrong on the configuration of my IJ cvs client.

Tips appreciated.
