hmm, i might be wrong but this what i found out if you use the CVS---Show File View and it builds up the file view and you can bring it to the foreground or whatever(i'm not good with these GUI lingo stuff)using "Window | Sourcesafe File View" it shows you the same cvs file view
Is the file view available as a plug-in or a component? I am trying to write a small command line tool for those guys (including me) who do not have the horse power to run tomcat, intellij and the beast called windows on a 512mb machine at the same time.
I could use this command line tool and not have to worry about opening intellij and the project just for the check-in, "status"ing purpose.
I've recently had to start working on a project that is in VSS. I run linux as my primary workstation. Anyone know of a way to use VSS within IntelliJ on linux?
It's there in 1136. I'm curious now too. What is it?

Do you use SourceSafe integration? If yes,. try "SourceSafe | Show File

But in 1138, I don't see a SourceSafe | Show File View menu item - only the (disabled) Windows | SourceSafe File View menu item.
