mac osx and idea popup windows

Hello Jan,

This is a bug in the Apple Java update 4 which will be fixed in the forthcoming
Java update 5.

I am using idea 8.1.3 on mac os x 10.5.8 - spaces enabled (2) and on a
regular basis I have the following problem:

When I click on a menu item which is supposed to open a popup window
( or the window does not
show up and the menu-item is grayed. Switching to another application
and then switching back does not help. Sometimes I can solve the
problem by pressing the sho

rtcut key, and another solution is to close idea completely and
restart.

Also looking for the popup window via spaces does not help.

Has any one had this behaviour and knows how to solve it ?
