Searching for text in library source

I've got Ant in my project, and the source (unzipped) attached.

When I try to do a Find in Path based on a directory in the Ant source tree, it returns immediately saying that nothing has been found. It would appear that no search is actually carried out.

So, is this search supposed to work properly?
If not, what is the limitation of Find in File? Is it e.g. only Content Roots?

Yes, it works only for project content now. It's probably not correct since
it allows to enter any path - not only in content. A critical issue is that
we should ignore excluded files.
Possible solution: filter to project content only when the directory
specified is under content. What do you think?

Am I right in thinking that it used (3.0) to work for any folder?

It would be reasonable to filter to project content only when the directory specified is under content. The only thing is - would this always be clear to the user? If the user is expecting excluded files to be searched, and there is no visual indication that they won't be, then this could lead to confusion.

Could an option be added to the dialog, whether to search in excluded files or not? That way, the behaviour would be made explicit, and the user would be able to choose according to what he wants/expects.

In any case, I think that Find in Files should work for non-project content paths.
