Build 1104 - Cannot build J2EE project error Follow
I downloaded and installed 1104 and performed the following:
1. Added all my EJB and web source, files, and descriptors.
2. Created an EJB, Web, and J2EE App module under a project (see
IDEAError_Build1.jpg).
3. Tried to rebuild the project, and got an error about the J2EE App
module not having a compiler defined (see IDEAError_Build2.jpg)
Looks like the UI elements were removed to specify the JDK for a J2EE App
Module, but not the validation code.

Make sure you have a target jdk selected in your module. It can be set in the "Paths" settings screen under the "Libraries" tab, right at the top.
Yea... that sounds like a plan, but 'uhm... there's no "Libraries" tab on
the J2EE Module set anymore. :)
If you look at the attached image, you can see the only tabs I can access
are Dependency, Module, and Setting. However as a work around in the mean
time, I edited the J2EE Module IML file to include the order entry name
for the JDK with a type of "jdk". Works.
Thanks for the quick reply!

You raise a very, very good point.
LOL!!! Ah... tough day here. I need that one. Too funny...
Just a comment too by the way to the entire team there. The IDEA product
is awesome. Everyone I show it too loves it. If it had xdoclet (possibly
instead of aspectJ) support, it'd be perfect. However I can't tear myself
away from it for anything else... even Intellij.
If the open source community had a little more vision like the Intellij
team, productivity would increase 100% and the java development would be
more fun than Warcraft. :P
