No automatic update from #9825 to #9833 (8.1.1)?
It's really great that IDEA has finally got an update mechanism. However, quite often I get the message "nothing found to update" although a new version is available for download. I've had this between EAP version, and now it's the same for 8.1.1 final. Is this a known problem?

Here is one problem with the updater. I don't see a way to roll it back.
Jetbrains should add a mechanism to undo the update if something goes
wrong, or a problem emerges. In my case, the continuous indexing. I
deleted my 8.1 directory(removing 8.1.1), reinstalled 8.1, and the
problem went away.
It seems to be in the 8.1.1 code, but updating left me with only
resinstalling as an option. Downloading a full build at least gives you
the option of installing different versions in different directories.
