module specific jdk vs project jdk

I'm in the process of setting up idea modules that correspond with our
long standing ant modules. Each module requires that a jdk be specified.
When we upgrade to the next jdk, will I have to open three dozen module
settings and change each jdk value? Or is there planning some type of
project level settings flow-down for settings not explicity specified in
a module?

We are planning a "Project JDK" setting. Each new module will use it by default. Still it will be possible to set alternate JDK for
particular module (just like now).

When executing an Ant target, with which JDK is Ant executed?
