Debugging problems

Since 977 I am having debugging problems, Setp into & step over doesn't
behave as expected. The most common situation is that I perform a step
over, and it never terminates: it says that the application is running,
but the app is stuck, and if I hit Pause, nothing special happens, except
that the Run button gets enabled. I can press it, but nothing happens...
Occasionally, it also hanged IDEA.
Is anybody else observing this?

Not exactly the same, but similar. I was seeing strange debugging
behaviour with 977 a couple of weeks ago. Restarting IDEA cleared things
and it didn't seem reproducible so I never followed it up. On several
occasions I found that 'step over' would just resume execution (it didn't
cause the app to stick as it did for you), and that 'resume execution'
would do as it should but also ignore subsequent breakpoints. I also had
situations where 'step over' performed 'run to cursor' instead. This was
on Linux.

I reported this as a bug yesterday, but it has not shown up in Tracker yet. Things were working pretty well in 977, but 992 does seem to resume sometimes while stepping.

Same problem here. Sometimes when I do a Step Over, it acts like I did a
Resume Program. IIRC this started in build 992.
