IDEA fails to start after installing a plugin

Hi there,

I used the plugin manager to download a plugin and IDEA does not start
anymore.

Here's the stacktrace:

Execute
delete[C:\java\IDE\Aurora\IDEA992\plugins\ToggleKeywordPlugin-1.0.jar]
Action
delete[C:\java\IDE\Aurora\IDEA992\plugins\ToggleKeywordPlugin-1.0.jar] fa
iled.
Execute
copy[C:\java\IDE\Aurora\IDEA992\bin\..\system\plugins\ToggleKeywordPlugi
n-1.2.jar, C:\java\IDE\Aurora\IDEA992\plugins\ToggleKeywordPlugin-1.2.jar]
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(#com.intellij.plugins.PluginM
anager).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
Press any key to exit...

The failed delete action comes from the fact that this is the second attempt
to start IDEA.
How do I configure the log in order to get past this problem?

Thx,
Andrei

After installing Resin Integration IDEA fails to run, saying, that it failed to initialize log4j properly.

build 992, previous 977 was ok

Here's a workaroud:
When it downloads the plugin, IDEA places it in system/plugins directory and
creates a script that will delete the old version from IDEA_HOME/plugins and
will copy the new one upon startup.

Copy the plugin file manually from system/plugins to the IDEA_HOME/plugins
directory and delete the content of the system/plugins. You'll be able to
start IDEA after that.

I haven't figured out how to change the log4j config to make it work.

HTH,
