Compiling Packages from Packages View

It would seem that a lot of things are currently disabled in the package view. My biggest one is that the "New" menu is greyed out.

No reasons, just not implemented yet. Sure we'll address this issue.

Is there some reason why we should not be able to compile a package in
the Packages View? The option is disabled. I can compile that way from
the Project view and can of course compile a class from the Packages View.
