custom tags in javadoc

In a project's properties, on the JavaDoc tab, why doesn't '-tag todo:-a-"To
Do:"' (without the outer single quotes) entered into the "Other parameters:"
edit field cause IDEA to accept the following javadoc line:

  • @todo: do something about the zombies

IDEA is showing me a red square in the upper right corner of the editing
window with a link to this line saying "Wrong tag".

I don't think IDEA uses that "Other parameters" field to determine valid
Javadoc tags. If you go to Options->IDE Settings->Errors and select
"Unknown javadoc tags" in the Highlighting options, on the right there
should be a "Additional Javadoc Tags" field where you can enter a list
of extra tags.
