TODO Pane --> export to file
Hello!
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to generate a text file or a list that i can cut-n-paste that contains all my TODOs.
I'm looking for something just like in Find --> export to file.

I opened my project in build 957 and there is essentially nothing in the
project. I get this message on the console, that also fails to be sent
to the web support pages.
How are people able to use version 957. I find it useless, because
there is nothing in my project after converting it and adding packages
(how?) doesn't seem to have one file able to see files in the same
package. There is obviously something I'm missing, but this version
is useless.
I'm a happy user of stable version 3.0.5 (build 706), but an see nothing
in this new version that is useful.

P.S. Sorry, nothing personal, I just couldn't help myself. And I hope you don't mind the occasional quip. (Unfortunately, I cannot help you with 957, since I don't use it yet.)
Dave,
may I draw your attention to a statement you see every time you download a
new EAP build:

The problem you report have already been reported to our bug database and

"Develop with pleasure!"
while from a final user standpoint the expectation of a newer version to
cope with stuff generated with an oler version, from a developer point
this is too much of a hassle.
Persistence is always hard, and keeping code able to turning OLD
persistent representations into the new version of objects is only worth
doing between stable releases, not between any builds.
So if an eap build can open old stuff, well (for me, that happens quite
often both with projects and with settings).
else, scrap everything you generated with the previous builds and start
clean. stability will benefit a lot ...

Hello again!
What do any of the responses have to do with the posed question????
The question was about the TODO pane...not some rambling about eap stability.
BTW i use the eap every single day (even over the past 2 weeks with 0900-2300 coding days). It seems that only the plugins cause some problems...
Looks like somethings gone awry here with the forums...

What about the ability of the software to convert a previous project?
It tries to convert it and then shows nothing about the project when
it is done. It would be better if it didn't say it was trying
to convert the project.
After it failed to convert my project, I tried importing classes from
scratch, but I when I import them, it can't see even classes in
the same package, so I must not understand the new and different
tabs in the project page.
I understand the software is not expected to run trouble free, but I was
hoping I could tell what to do with the software, but could find nothing
to help you run it correctly. I guess I'll just have to wait for it to
be more stable.
thanks,
Dave

I tried adding some libraries and source to a project and got the
following. I tried sending it with the available link, but it would
not send. Ignoring the error does not work. The only option is to
shutdown IDEA. I'm using jdk1.4.2_01 on XP.

Sorry for the complaint, but build 963 doesn't work either. I get the
same error even when I create a new project. I've already filed a
bug report.
