View | Full Screen doesn't toggle

When I switch to full screen view (either via Ctrl-Alt-F11 or via the View | Full Screen menu entry), the window title as well as the Windows 2000 task bar go away, and Idea covers the whole screen. However, there is no way back from full screen mode. Neither pressing Ctrl-Alt-F11 nor selecting the View | Full Screen entry again will work.

To make it worse, Idea in full screen mode stays in the foreground. Selecting another application (which is possible only via Alt-Tab, as the task bar is gone) makes the task bar visible again, but the rest of the screen is stubbornly covered by Idea. There is one way to switch applications: in the task bar, minimize Idea, which will make the other applications accessible again. But that's a rather clumsy way to switch tasks.

Any hints would be appreciated.

I have managed to reproduce only the second issue, only with opened modal
dialog: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-30961

But switching between full screen mode and normal mode works well for me.
(WinXP).

Alexander.
