Tomcat 5

Is it possible with build 957 to use tomcat 5? If so, could you point me to some docs on the matter? Thnx.

This is a feature request they're working on.

Depends on what you mean by the term "use". In general, it is possible to use Tomcat 5 with any build, including 957.

Does JSP debuggin with Tomcat 5 also work?

I remeber you saying that IDEA would once use the debugging support in Tomcat 5.

I believe Eugene is working on JSR45 support, and hence Tomcat debugging
should work. I haven't heard anything to the contrary.

You can start Tomcat as a remote process, but not to debug JSP the 'old
fashioned' way in IDEA, like you can with Tomcat 4.0.6.

Actually now that I think about it, someone in the J2EE forum posted a
message about what needs to be changed in the current Tomcat plugin to
debug JSPs with Tomcat 5. I need to look at that and give it a whirl.
