New features in the next build

I've been browsing thru the list of fixed bugs (build > 929) and I found the list of new features SO SWEET! Can't wait for the next EAP build. Here's what awaits us:

- Multiple files in a split editor window
- Three-way merge tool
- Editing current version in CVS diff view
- The new project view
- Conversion of ariadna projects (new wizard?)

And, of course, reams of bugfixes.

Morphine! Morphine!.... can't ... wait....

http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=16767 was fixed too, something I've always wanted and just got around to submitting. I'm excited.

Yeah! Let all 140 bug fixes free! All we are saying is give peace a
chance... Free Those Bugs! Free Those Bugs! Free Those Bugs!

hehehehe... kidding... I'll wait, keep hammering away guys, this is some
serious development speed I'm seeing, reminds me of the 'good old days'

When it comes to NPE, and other AOOBE, the automatic error reporter
feels like a real WMD.

The list of features committed to aurora release is shrinking pretty fast. Better start saving your money :)

Personnaly, I can easily translate this into :

"a lot of very good requests were not committed to Aurora."

, and even sometimes with "High" or "Very High" priority :)

I would also add that the macro is half-done :
http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=15388#558736
JetBrains' official position is
"I agree it lacks of usability but it's the way it works. "

It also feels like they've put AspectJ on halt.

(end of whining mode)

Merge!!!! Wheee. I liked the look of the merge from the LocalCVS in 929
but having that also from CVS would rock.

- Editing current version in CVS diff view - The new project view
- Conversion of ariadna projects (new wizard?)

dribble all looking nice :)) Gimme a release...

It looks like the new exception reporting tool is revealing a lot of
exceptions. And as I post this already 97 exceptions are fixed!

Should be a very stable build that's coming.
