Specified path can not be found

When I am trying to set up sources for my project and/or global libraries and pick appropriate directory within a zip file in "Select Path" dialog, hit "OK" and red lighting icon appears at the bottom of the dialog with the error message "Specified path can not be found". I wonder what does it mean and how it's even possible to select a location from the file chooser and get such error message.
If I modify my .ipr file manually to specify the very same location, IDEA happily accepts my change.
Appears in 7.0.3 on windows xp. Does anyone else experience this?

It happened to me too. I think that the file chooser caches data and
doesn't always refresh it. So you could delete file and still have it in
the chooser. There is a small refresh button.

My issue has nothing to do with synchronization, because location in question has been stable for ages, and problem is 100% repeatable.

I have managed to attachs sources from zip the following way: select zip
in chooser, press Ok. Get special dialog with the list of source directories,
found within the archive. Select necessary directories and Ok.

Alexander.

Hi Alexander,

Thanks a lot for your reply.
Now I've manage to attach my sources too, although it's confusing as hell that file chooser even expands archives. It is far from obvious that zip itself has to be selected and I swear it used to work the way I tried initially. It would be nice if file chooser expand archives to show any nested archives instead.

Thank you again for the hint. I've been using idea since v.2.6 but never in my life saw this source root chooser dialog. Learn something new about IDEA every day. 8-D

We have also decided that this is not very well: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-25328.
