908 new desktop icon
After installing 908, I noticed there was a new desktop icon. . I liked the old desktop icon. It was simple (IJ) but it was easy to recognize. This new rocketship flying over a coffee cup is very un-icon-like and it also doesn't make me think of IntelliJ. It actually makes me think of Rocket Mania Deluxe !! (Cool Puzzle game written in Java! http://www.popcap.com/rocketmania.php)
I find the best icons are the ones which are simple, not ones which try to display a scene with multiple elements(rocketship flying over coffee)
Just like the 'e' for Internet Explorer or 'O' for Opera is kind of silly, but they work because they are simple icons and have easily recognizable connection to the program. If Internet Explorer tried to show a picture of a browser or a windows logo flying over a URL, that would be less effective IMO.

I downloading 908 at the moment so havent installed it myself, but that rocket ship icon is the default icon from InstallAnywhere. I would guess that its just a small bug in the installer.
Thanks for reporting :)
We've changed our build environment from InstallAnywhere 4.3 to 5.5.
Sure it's a reason of that icon :)
Will be fixed :)

Easy enough to change. Just open the shortcut properties, and select
'%SystemDrive%\IntelliJ-IDEA-908\bin\idea.ico' as the icon file.
