Flex Mx package support

Using Intellij 7.0.2 and Flex beta 3: using the Flex component, I haven't found a way to make Intellij see the mx packages (the rest works fine). Any ideas?

Also seeking some answers regarding the flex module in general. I have a similar experience to this post:
http://jimmyflex.blogspot.com/2007/11/intellij-7-flex-module.html

where using the facet I get to the point of specifying the adobe sdk home and thats about it. Are there some steps I need to take to start having the tool recognize flex file types (mxml and as) and offer code completion, etc.? Perhaps I can be pointed to a "how to" regarding setting up a flex module, keeping in mind that this module is usually wrapped by a java module of some sort that provides the build script for mxml compilation - maven and ant in the case of my project. Thanks,

Dan

You need to add Flex facet for the module (In Project Settings invoke
New action over selected module) with valid Flex SDK path.

There is also problem of recognizing Flex 3 SDK which was fixed in IDEA 7.0.3, please, try EAP version

Mxml and as files should be handled right out the box (provided JavaScript plugin is enabled). Compile / run / debug actions for flex sources indeed should be performed with ANT / Maven / External Tools.
IDEA 7.0.3 (currently in EAP) provides more discoverable Flex support settings:
Create new Java module and on 'select desired technology' wizard page one needs to check Flex support and specify Flex SDK location.
Note, latest IDEA 7.0.3 has fix for bug in detection of Flex 3 SDK location
