876 editor sluggish - same for you ?

In 876 (and 873 too, if I remember correctly) the editor is often very
slow in responding to plain code typing !

I understand that now there is much more parsing goingo on, but the
perfomance hit is now affecting productivity IMO.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

I'm not really seeing a slowdown in regular interactive work. But I do
pauses of up to ten seconds from time to time. And when comming back to
idea (ie, refocus) -- especially after a cvs update via smartcvs -- I
get long hangs before idea wakes up.

(BTW, I run a pretty fast machine: 2+G dual and 1.5G, with 512M
allocated to idea.)

I'm on a slowish machine. P3 900. On large files (1000+ lines) the
editor can not keep with my typing. Holding down a key and you really
see how it struggles.
