Moving of packages represented by more than on directory ...

It seems strange to me that this is a limitation.

I select a directory, not a package, for the move. Then I select a
target directory for the new package. Why can't just the files in the
selected directory be moved to the new package/directory?

If that were allowed, then I could go the test directory and move the
remaining classes in the package as a second step. As it is now, I must
go the target package/directory, create a new package, then move the
individual files. This isn't so bad, but when the source
directory/packages has lots of subpackages, this gets quite tedious.

(Ha! Before idea I had to an external tool, move the files, the compile
to find all the errors and fix the package statements. Then go to an
external cvs tool and remove all the missing files and add all the
non-cvs files. But hey, its too late to go back now. So I whine for more
and more and more ;)
