Parameter Info Problem

This is just a small problem, but it has become quite annoying over time. When I click Ctrlp to view the parameter options for a given method, it displays all of the parameters as bold instead of just the parameter that I am on. For example if I have a method called foo that takes in a String and an int called bob and sally respectively, it will display foo(String bob, int sally) instead of foo(String bob, int sally) when I type Ctrlp inside my use of the method. I can't find any settings that would do this and no one else who uses Intellij around me seems to have the same problem. Does anyone have a clue why this would be happening?

this seems to only happen on the first parameter, not sure if it's intentional ?

I think the problem needs JIRA request, preferrable with reproducible
code snippet.

It happens no matter how many parameters the method has and no matter how many I put in. It always bolds every parameter.

I'm not even sure where I would make a JIRA request.

I would love to include a reproducible code snippet, but like I said it only seems to do it on my computer. The other guys I work with don't seem to have the problem. I guess I could delete the .IntelliJI60 folder and re-install Intellij, but I really don't want to do that. All I can guess is that it is a plugin that I have and they don't.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

after further testing i suspect a font display problem : did you ever see non bold fonts appear in the tooltips ?

This works fine on my machine (IDEA 7/Windows XP) as shown on the attached screenshot.

edit : a further look at your screenshot shows that both the menu and the tab titles also appear, which is not the case for me neither, i'd give a try using a different font

Thank you so much. It was the font. I'm working in Linux so it must of defaulted to a font that doesn't display that correctly. After I switched to Ariel the parameter thing works perfectly.
