How do I add an existing file to WebStorm project?

There doesn't seem to be a way to add an existing fiile to the project.
I can drag and drop a file and it's in the directory, but it does not seem
to be officially part of the project; e.g., when I do a `CVS -> git -> Add` the new files
are not added. Sync does not seem to change the situation.
What am I messing?

Just copy the file to WebStorm project directory- that's all

Thanks Elena. I see the added files do magically show up in the .idea/workspace.xml file.

When I do a "VCS --> Git --> Add" these files are not staged for a commit though. Why not?

Works for me... Please try synchronizing the project after copying the file to make sure that it appears in VFS and then add it to git - does it work?
