Mac OS X build 701 (rc 304) feedback

Hi,
I have only started using 701 this morning, but so far it seems a little less well behaved then 700.
Here are some specifics I've noticed:

- "Orphan" dialog windows
several times dialog progress type windows don't close when they should and can't be closed manually. This happened once at startup with the local version control dialog never going away and once when doing a refactor-delete The "Safe Delete" dialog never went away. This has been a reoccurring problem for a while. I am sure I am not the first to report it.

- Message window not refreshing correctly. Many times I have to force a manual refresh to see the text there. I did not see this behavior in build 700.

I have also noticed the problem reported in build 700 that entailed the generate popup menu not working after its first use still exists.

This is known problem of Apple JVM that disposed windows stay on the
screen. We have already reported this bug to Apple and they said that
they know about it. Unfortunately we can do nothing to fix this.

Thanks for the update. I hadn't realized the window problem was due to Apple's JVM. Hopefully, they will get around to fixing it.

I'd like to join in here:

Please do trap Apple-Q (and possibly other system related keys)! Now
that a lot of keys have changed my fingers thought that Quick Javadoc is
also to Apple-Q. Unfortunately this causes idea to quit without saving
the modifications made to the source. This has cought me twice now and
every time it is a lot of work to restore the last state.

This is #10297 in the tracker (state to be discussed).
