Help! How do you change color of...

... the "#{ " and "}" tags in a JSF expression in a JSP page as it appears in the text editor of IDEA v.6.0.4?

I use custom colors, so it is annoying not being able to change the colors of elements in the text editor whose default colors clash with the rest of one's custom colors.

Also, when you retype in the editor to switch between "#{" and "${" expression languages, shouldn't the color of the closing "}" tag change to match the color of the changed opening tag?

Thanks in advance.

The recent IntelliJ blog entry seems to be what you are looking for (actually just posted today):

Thanks for responding. That blog entry does not address my specific issue. I have plenty of custom color settings already set up for the JSP editor. What I cannot figure out how to do is change the color of JSF expression language tags.

Argh. I closed my JSP file and reopened it and now I've noticed that the syntax coloring has started working for the JSF expression language tags. I must have done something to coax IDEA to re-load the syntax coloring settings.

Apparently IDEA uses the same color settings for the JSF expression language tags as it does for the JSP expression language tags. This is fine with me since the two expression languages have been merged together as the unified expression language.

What I don't understand now is why sometimes the color setting sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. There must be some kind of intermittent bug happening here, unfortunately I'm not sure what triggers the syntax coloring to sometimes fail.
