Where I can find a "project overview"?

Hi,

on the start screen of phpstorm, I can see my "recent projects". But where is my projects "overview"? I've clicked around in the menus, but I couldn't find anything. Can I just navigate trough my folders?

A list with all my projects, which I've created with phpstorm.

Hi Peter,

There is no such thing in PhpStorm (at least ATM).

  • Related ticket (Feature Request): http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/WI-1432?projectKey=WI
  • You can see your last 15 (or so) projects in File | Reopen in addition to the Start page (the one on your screenshot)
  • You can always use File | Open Directory... to open previously used project -- the dialogue window will show PhpStorm icons for folders that are assigned with the project (to be precise: if one of the subfolders is called .idea and has project settings)

Original post was 2011 and STILL, I see no list of projects.

I've searched the internet and found numerous questions on how to see such a list, but no answers what-so-ever.

At minimum there should be a list of projects to select from.

What is Favorites, anyway? I mean, I was adding projects to my favorites, but it appears favorites are "favorites" belonging to the current project? Maybe I'm just not finding the list of favorites?

Please add a list of projects to select from.

As Andriy already kindly mentioned:
File | Reopen project still works.

At minimum there should be a list of projects to select from.

Also File | Close project -> Welcome screen shows the list of the recent projects on the left.

What is Favorites, anyway?
