Menu bar on OS X seems to work under 694

If you edit the info.plist and add this to the VMOptions, you will get the menu bar Mac OS Style. It's quite cool actually!

-Dapple.laf.useScreenMenuBar=true

OMG! You're right. It does work.

On a different note, has anyone figured out how to increase the -Xmx setting? I've set it everywhere it appears within the idea.app directory tree, but it still tops out at 128meg.

Hum I've pushed it up in the info.plist and it pushed up. I put 512 MB for the max and put 256 for the lower end and when IDEA starts up I get 256 as the current max and it CAN grow from there but I don't do enough to push it up that high. Most I've pushed it to is 96MB.

-Dapple.laf.useScreenMenuBar=true

but not complete yet: You will see the Java-Build-Menu if you press
Option-B. Additionally the first line of the menu is always empty.

Hi Dirk,

Did you file bugs for these issues?

Best,

No I didn't: The builds do not officially use the screen menu bar yet.
That's why I thought that this is still work in progress and will get
fixed for the final MacOSX release anyway.

@Intellij: file bug yes/no?
