View External Javadoc button initially missing from Quick Javadoc popup?

I just noticed that when viewing Quick Javadoc, the View External Javadoc button is initially missing from the popup. I can make it appear by clicking on a linked item (e.g.

) and then going back, but I don't really feel like I should have to and I could've sworn that it didn't use to work that way.

Am I just crazy, or did the View External Javadoc button use to appear in previous builds? Is there a compelling reason that it shouldn't appear intially?

Thanks,

chris

Ooops, forgot to mention I'm using build 694 on Win2k.

As far as I remember it has always been that way. Perhaps the reason is to save some vertical space (?)

Thanks, maybe so. It's not too big of a deal to escape out of the quick
javadoc and hit the key combo for the external javadoc, but I thought it was
a change from previous builds. Probably just my early morning haziness :)

thanks for the reply.
