IDEA 6.0: Eclipse compiler not honouring -encoding

Hi,

In my team, I'm the only one who's using Linux, the other people use
Windows. Some people keep using german umlauts in the sources, and they
keep using windows-1252 as encoding (while I'm at UTF-8 and I'm not
willing to change this:)). So I'm forced to pass the compiler
the -encoding flag and remove any non-ASCII characters from sources I
edit (I wrote a plugin for this ... gotta release it, when I have some
spare time).

Unfortunately, the Eclipse compiler doesn't seem to honour this flag,
although eclipse.org states it does. Eclipse just complains about
illegal characters, duplicate 'case' (case 'ö': ... case 'ü': ... =>
case '?': ... case '?':)

Am I missing something?

cu and TIA,
Raffi

Looks like this is a bug. Could you please file a JIRA issue at http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/
?
