Future MacOS X Support in IDEA ?

Hi!

I did not find any statement regarding future support of MacOS X as an IDEA platform. Actually I do not care about EAP versions, but I would like to see a final version I can use on MacOS X.

Could somebody from Jetbrains please comment on this issue?

Regards,
Wolfram.

IDEA 3.0 will rely on JRE 1.4 ; Developer Previews of this JRE version have just been posted by Apple on ADC website.
Hopefullty, once it will have released, we may see an OS X port of IDEA :o)

Regards,

Frederic

I have Idea 3.0 (676) running on MacOS X 10.2.2 with Java 1.4.1 DP5 and it looks promising. With it working good enough to rebuild my project 30K+ lines of code and run the JUnit tests successfully on a Developer Preview release of Java, it shouldn't be a problem for JetBrains to build a MacOS X package once Apple makes its initial release of 1.4.1
