Firefox and Launching Javadoc

I've my default browser set to firefox on my Windows box. When I press "Ctrl-F1" to browse a javaDoc externally, and firefox is already running, I receive the "Firefox is already running" error message from firefox.

I understand why this is happening, and wish firefox had a way to launch a web site externally. Has anyone encountered this and created a workaround?

Nevermind. Through some process of ensuring Firefox was my default browser and other tweaking, I was able to get this to work.
