Suggest import never suggest java.util.Date?

Why does the suggest import never suggest java.util.Date, it will only suggest java.sql.Date? I hate that!

Can I fix this?

it actually suggests both. Just press enter and you'll get a popup menu where you can select if you want to import java.util.Date or java.sql.Date

Hmmmmm... ok, I see that the blue popup just says "java.sql.Date" but when you actually hit ALT-ENTER, it then gives you a dropdown of the other Date objects.

Ok, this works, but is misleading.

yes, of course I ment alt-enter. I agree that it isn't entirely obvious until you find it.

I agree but what would you rather have for the suggestion a huge list of possibilities? Try typing in new ParseException and then hit alt + enter... there are like 6 of them, if you have the Tomcat plugin enabled.

The thing is though that they know there are more options already, so why not put the light bulb next to the error instead of the blue suggestion?

I think I'll file this as an enhancement request.

It should be saying 'java.sql.Date, ...? Alt+Enter'. The ", ..." should appear if there are multiple options.
