Windows/Mac: Live Edit Not Working

I have the same problem on both my hakintosh, Windows, and Ubuntu machines: the live edit extension for Chrome will not work.  I am able to see javascript console messages, and interact with the page's javascript console, but HTML content does not update, nor do CSS rules.

Attached is an image of what I see: PHPStorm appears to be sending changes, but the client, Chrome is not recieving.

This was using a clean installation of chrome (Chrome canary), and PHPStorm with reset, default settings.

The error log is empty, as shown in the image.

I'm not quite sure how to proceed, but my best guess is that the extension is in a non-working state altogether.  Has anyone had any success using this plugin on any operating system?

Test conducted with fresh install of Windows 8.1 x64 via PHPStorm 8.0.2 PS#139.659 EAP.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Has anyone had any success using this plugin on any operating system?

Yes -- just now: PhpStorm 8.0.2 and Chrome 39

I'm not quite sure how to proceed, but my best guess is that the extension is in a non-working state altogether.

Well ... I do not see the signs that LiveEdit is even installed in your PhpStorm...

If it's not installed (or installed but disabled) .. then how it's supposed to work ..?
