Remove the colors in indicating changed files when using GIT VCS

I have integrated git into my project and colors now appear next to line numbers indicating changes (I don't know what this section is called). I would like for these to not appear. Is this possible?

I also noticed that files that have changes have their file name colored differently as well. How can I remove this coloring?

Figured it out after searching: I was able to do this in Settings> Colors and Fonts > File Status and unclicking everything.
The line number bar still shows colors, so I still need some help there, but the file tree does not.

I found that you can change colors in the line number area by going to Settings> Colors and Fonts > Diff, but I could not turn off colors, only change them. Setting it the color of my background did not appear to work, either to hide the colors.
