I use PhpStorm to create add-ons for a popular web-application written in PHP.
This application (XenForo) allows add-on developers to define classes that extend existing classes 'dynamically'. This is done by creating classes that extend all of the proxy classes at run time, ending in extending the actual base class.
In PhpStorm, I've taken to creating the dynamic class under the class extending it, so that the extension can be recognised and I can access/extend methods from the original class easily.
I'm just wondering if there's a better way to do this? I have to comment out that extra class before I test, and then I have to uncomment it when I amend the code - it can be quite annoying sometimes.
