For now it's impossible - it clears only if you search for the string that has no matches. I'll file a bug for our "web help" team on tracker.

"documentation" project on youTrack is internal, unfortunately, so you can not follow it. But developers already reacted and most likely it will be fixed soon.
This is still not fixed . . .
