Random hangs?

Recently IDEA (5.0.1 b3461) started randomly hanging for anywhere from 3-10 seconds. The memory meter isn't full-up so I don't think it's the GC. Happens sometimes when returning to IDEA from another app (sync files in turned OFF in settings). Happens sometimes while editing Java files (just typing, not using autocompletion). How can I isolate this problem better so I can filed a decent bug on it? Log files I should tail?
