Problem with Sass watcher and --sourcemap

I'm trying to get PhpStorm 7.1.1 to compile Scss files to Css and create a sourcemap.

I've created a new file watcher for scss files and set the program to be /usr/bin/sass - this is the 3.3.0-rc2 version of sass that can produce sourcemaps.

Arguments set to --no-cache --sourcemap --update $FileName$:$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css

When this runs, it produces the following output:

/usr/bin/sass --no-cache --sourcemap --update socollect.scss:socollect.css
OptionParser::InvalidOption: invalid option: --sourcemap
  Use --trace for backtrace.

Run the same command on the command line and it works fine, producing the css file and the .css.map file.

Any idea where I'm going wrong with this?

Cheers!

A.

Hello!

works fine for me using watchers + sass 3.3.0.rc.1
Do you have a single sass version installed on your computer? Looks as if the watcher runs a different sass executable

you can try using 'which' command to locate executables on your system

BTW, can you check if running PHPStrom from your system terminal makes any difference?
