Is this posted anywhere? I just looked at the upgrade options on JetBrains.com - I don't see this mentioned. So, how would one actually acquire this? I too have licensed Idea in my own name at the commercial rate for several versions.

Thanks - maybe I was just having a "senior moment" - never even saw it - or maybe it just got put there yesterday?? That's great!

Has anyone been able to use the line on the main page to order the personal license upgrade? I've tried entering every piece of "license" info given to me - my registration key for 4.0, order number, license info, etc. - they are all rejected by the page. Sent through a request via the page but no response yet. Just wondering if anyone else has been successfully validated.

I have been validated Scott, I tried it just to check it would work for me. I haven't upgraded yet but I'll be doing so before the deadline. You might want to e-mail JetBrains sales department, I initially had problems with it too but they were extremely helpful.

Yep, it worked for me using my 4.5 license key (the one you type in to validate your license when entering IDEA).

Thanks - all set now - their online system would not take my license key but once i sent it to sales, they validated it and gave me an alternate page to order - order went through and got my new license key this morning. Maybe it's because my license key was given to me the last time I paid, which was the release of 4.0 - 4.5 wasn't a paid upgrade - who knows.
