tabs closed on presentation toggle

Hello,

I am a new user to phpstorm and I have a question. When I switch back from presentation mode, all of my tabs appear to be have been closed, except for the one I was working on. Is this expected behaviour? It's really annoying having to reload all of my files.

thanks
Dave

OK, thanks - so it's not even registered as a bug in phpstorm and there doesn't seem to be much urgency to fix it?

It almost makes phpstorm unusable for me as I have to use presentation mode since changing the editing font size in settings is 'not recommended'

Surely plenty of other users are really bothered about this?

So it's not even registered as a bug in phpstorm

1) I wonder .. what those 2 tickets that I gave you earlier actually are... They both have "Type: Bug" -- what that could possibly mean?..

2) "Presentation Mode" is platform-wide feature (available in ALL IDEs by JB) and not PhpStorm-specific. All such tickets belong to general "IDEA" project on Issue Tracker. Once resolved the fix will be available in all products (with that build number or newer)

Surely plenty of other users are really bothered about this?

Have you seen number of votes on those tickets?

1) You misunderstand me -  I meant it doesn't appear to be a phpstorm bug, since it's registered under IntelliJ project, about which I know nothing - and I don't know how you organise your projects internally.

2) No, I don't see any field containing votes.

thanks
Dave

Ah, I see, you've got to click on similar issues and get a list of issues and then scan down for the same issue then scan across and see that the number next to a thumb is the number of votes.

1) Ok. If you would have highlight the "phpstorm" part in first place (like you did here), I would have skipped my #1. Thank's for your patience.

Anyway: now you have some idea on how it works. Once resolved the fix will be available in all IDEA-based products.

2) It's buttons with "thumb up/tick" icons on right bottom corner of the ticket. First ticket has 2 and 2nd has 5 votes (that excludes actual people who created them .. so add 2 more) -- 9 so far (unless, there are more tickets on the same subject which I did not managed to find)

In any case: if you want to ask about ticket progress (status/plans) or comment on how annoying this issue is / how important it is to have it fixed / etc -- please comment on actual ticket so that devs (especially assigned one) know about it.
