How about not including 20 lines of pgp sigs for one line's worth of comments :) (I was chided for it before, and now see how bad it is)

I never see or think about those signatures, since my mail reader (enigmail in mozilla mail) filters them out and instead tells me "Good signature from ...". In the future hopefully everybody will sign their messages, and all mail readers will support this.
I'll test using PGP/MIME instead. Does this message look any better?

Are you saying that your news reader ("MT-NewsWatcher/3.4"?) is rendering an attachment with mime-type application/pgp-signature, inline as text/plain? (Perhaps you can "view source" or its equivalent to verify this?) If so, it sounds like a bug.
Still, i think it looks a little better. The problem with PGP/MIME is of course readers with poor MIME support.
Can MT-NewsWatcher sign a message using PGP/MIME, and if so, how does that look?

How about also removing the spam? It's rather annoying to look at.

Yup, that's much better :)
It's worth saying that the enormous SIG showed up in the web version of the interface too, so the PGP/MIME is much nicer...
