WebStorm - Show Difference

Please can someone explain why the IDE is showing a difference (the white block) and giving incorrect results in the diff pane?

It's the same as the original, yet it shows different. When you view the diff, it's incorrect.

The left hand pane shows '(spaces) .name(space)'
The right hand pane shows '(spaces) .nam' with no space on the end and no 'e'.
