Upgrade WebStorm?

I have upgraded but everytime I start up WebStorm I am prompted to upgrade because my license has expired. Ideas?

1) What version do you have now exactly (Help | About)?

2) What version it tries to update to?
If it offers to try v8 EAP ... then check what updates channel you have in your "Settings | Updates"

I see ... so it is a subscription upgrade message.

Help | Register -- enter your license details there again. If something is already there -- re-enter again.

So .. You have a license which is now expired: January 28 2014 -- and your screenshot shows just that.

Have you renewed your license (in other words: do you have unexpired license) ?

  • If YES -- enter your NEW license details
  • If NO ... and you do not plan to renew any time soon .. and just want to get rid of that reminder -- have you tried clicking on "Do not remind again" link on that reminder popup?

I didn't know that the license would be different. I will look in the upgrade notification to see if the license is there and is different. The first part of the notification indicates:

=====SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS======

Type: Upgrade Subscription for Personal License
Applicable Software: WebStorm
Subscription Reference No*: SR-538592-E464092995
Expiration Date: 28 January 2015
Number of Authorized Users: 1

* Please quote this reference when contacting JetBrains

They are different, 100% -- verified on my 3 licenses/renewals (still keeping emails with them in my "keep" folder)
