The Book about IntelliJ IDEA

Hi!

I think it will be interesting for Russian-speaking people more than for others, but anyway...

A week ago we (me and Alex Efimov) have startted writning a book about IntelliJ IDEA. It should be a Total IntelliJ IDEA Reference book for Java developers.
And it's a first book about IntelliJ IDEA in Russian.

Writing procces is blogged with LJ community: http://www.livejournal.com/community/ideabook/

We'll very happy for any interest from your side and for some comments or suggestions may be...

Thanks :)

Best regards,
Stanislav Davydov

Heck, it's the first book about IntelliJ IDEA full-stop. Any chance it's going to be released in English too?

Yes, it's possible :)

My publishing house is not quite sure about possible popularity of such book (theay always thinking about own risks :). So in a nearest future I'll open some voting about IDEA book in English to keep some statistics.

Obviously a little premature but you can put me down for one anyway!! :)

I would definately buy it if it was written in English (not that I've got anything against Russian, lol).

Dave, you have been a victim of direct (and indeed very funny :)) translation.
In Russian it sounds a bit different. I would translate it as David Griffith being
an Ultimate Coding Machine :)

David must really deserve the monicker. Just mentioning it made Omea send
the message four times.

Let's see if it's really contagious.

Hmmm. The contagion seems to be internal to Omea, it's showing my posts replicated several times. Going to the web interface they show only one time.

Beta testing...

Dave, I'm sorry :)
But you're really great programmer. I spent about 20 hours to write about your inspections and I really can't imagine how much time you have spent to write it! Great!
