compile function does not work
i just install intellij but i can compile even a single file. the software vrison is 4.5. the compile option is always gray out

Did you configure an output directory for your module/project?
couldn't be this idea always prompts you to create one if one is not defined, sounds like you have not told idea where your source directory is, have you created a project?
